The PTA Fundraiser celebrations for reaching $7,500 (Prize Fairy Visit) and $10,000 (Silly Teacher Surprise) sure have been a lot of FUN! We have even already earned but not yet received the $12,500 prize (Mascot Day) but let's keep the donations coming in so we can make it to $15,000 and have an Eagle Extravaganza!

Three Hope Valley students have had their art work chosen to be displayed this entire school year at the DPS Staff Development Center on Hillandale Road. Greg Laxton, a current 5th grader, will have his 4th grade creepy cursive creature on display. Claire Hurt, a current 1st grader, will have her Kindergarten drawing, flowers in vase, displayed. Roxana Prado, a current 4th grader, will have her 3rd grade drawing of the statue of liberty on display. The students were honored at a reception on Tuesday October 27th and DPS Superintendent Dr. Harris presented certificates to them. Roxana Prado was unable to attend. |
